ABOUT

Who Am I?

Luca Rojas is a writer and creative, born and bred on the Upper West Side of New York City. A first-generation Venezuelan-Jew and proud child of divorce, Luca earned his BFA in Media Studies and Music from Pomona College. In 2018, to find himself or whatever, he absconded to the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, after which he spent the better half of 2019 on a yoga farm in Vermont. Nowadays, like most New Yorkers, he lives in Echo Park or Silver Lake (depending on who’s asking), where he spends most of his time working as a screenwriter and copywriter.

Luca has worked in brand strategy, cross-disciplinary copywriting, and video content development for clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Netflix, HBO, Glenfiddich, Smirnoff, and Google, amongst others. He specializes in out-of-the-box creative strategy, multi-platform content writing and development, culturally-informed campaign narratives grounded in research and consumer insights, writing and facilitating pitch decks in coordination with design and account teams, creative copywriting and ideation — from OOH and digital content, to long-form editorial and social media — as well as client presentation and campaign execution. Passionate, obsessed with culture, detail-oriented, and results-driven, Luca prides himself on delivering best-in-class work across a variety of multimedia platforms, voices, channels, and content verticals.
